So it’s Weekend at Benner’s week, and this friday-sunday will be a pretty crazy, fun-filled, weekend in Michigan City. For those of you who haven’t had this shot, it’s actually pretty damn good. I absolutely hate pickles, or anything pickled, but I like these. Introduced to us at the Ledge (which is closing down today), the saltiness of the pickle-juice takes the bite out of the shot of jamo.

a new feature on the pps, the weekend activity, along with the booze piece of the week, will make sure you are enjoying your weekends to the fullest. well the obvious choice here for the fourth is bbq’ing. whether it’s chicken, burgers, dogs, brats, ribs, steaks… being outside grilling, with a matilda in hand, you will be enjoying your extra day off to the fullest. throw in some cornhole and tunes, you have yourselves quite the holiday party.

Belgian Strong Pale Ale | 7.00% ABV

not sure the availability outside the chi, but this beer is delicious. it comes in at 7% ABV so its ok for Ross to drink. at ~$12 a 4-pack its a little pricey, but well worth i, and would be a great beer to enjoy this holiday weekend.
